Matthew S. Sekeres, Principal Consultant

Matt Sekeres is a Principal Consultant and partner of Clearspring Energy Advisors and Clearspring Research. Prior to joining Clearspring, Mr. Sekeres held and economic consultant position at a consulting firm serving IOU, cooperative, and municipal utilities. Mr. Sekeres has over seven years of progressive experience in the energy industry.

Mr. Sekeres has a strong background in econometric analysis, energy forecasting, and market research. He has directed long range, spatial, and day ahead load forecast studies, market research studies, and load management evaluations and implementations. He has assisted in load research studies, rate studies, AMI processing and verification studies, and performance benchmarking studies.

Mr. Sekeres has developed real-time forecasting software solutions and probabilistic tools used in dispatching load control and calling price signaling events. He has also created automated end-use customer regression-based forecasting techniques used in load management programs to establish individual customer baseline loads.

Mr. Sekeres has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
